Zin Mar Htun, MD, is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care, as well as fellowship trained in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
Dr. Htun began her medical education at the University of Medicine, Yangon, in Yangon, Myanmar, earning her medical degree. Moving to the States, she pursued a master’s degree in biotechnology at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She then pursued an internal medicine residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Shortly after, she attended the University of Maryland to obtain her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Her research experience extends her medical knowledge, with topics ranging from pulmonary disease to sleep medicine.
Dr. Htun’s native language is Burmese and she is also conversational in Chinese.
