Tania Zavalza Jimenez, MD, is board certified in family medicine.

Dr. Jimenez began her education at UC Davis to earn her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. She then attended Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados, to earn her Doctor of Medicine. Finally, she pursued her family medicine residency through UCSF Fresno.

Her professional interests are an extension of her passion for family medicine. She often volunteered in organizing health fairs that educated the general public about topics such as diabetes. She also collaborated on a plethora of scientific articles on topics including lymphangioleiomyomatosis, Amyand’s hernia, and aphasia.

She is also a native Spanish speaker.
