Patrick Matian, DO, is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Matian attended UCLA, earning a bachelor’s degree in physiological sciences. He then attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC, for his master’s degree in physiology. To expand his medical education, he pursued a doctorate at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. Shortly after, he returned to California to pursue a family medicine residency at Adventist Health Tulare. Finally, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
He served as a volunteer sports medicine physician for a variety of teams, notably McLane High School Football, Reedley Community College Football, and the Hershey Bears, the minor league affiliate of the Washington Capitals. He has also volunteered at events such as the Special Olympics Regional Pennsylvania Games and the Marine Corps Marathon.
Dr. Matian speaks Armenian and is proficient in Spanish.
