Nareg Kalamakarian, MD, is a fellowship-trained cardiologist specializing in electrophysiology.
Dr. Kalamakarian began his educational career at the University of California, Davis, earning his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with emphasis in molecular and cellular biology. He then attended American University of the Caribbean to earn his Doctor of Medicine.
Upon completing medical school, he moved to New York for an internal medicine internship and residency at the State University of New York, Health Sciences Center of Brooklyn. Dr. Kalamakarian then completed a fellowship at the same institution. To further help his patients, Dr. Kalamakarian completed an additional fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology with Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
Dr. Kalamakarian is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, cardiovascular diseases, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is also a member of the American College of Cariology and Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Kalamakarian is fluent in Armenian.
