Fracture Care and Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery

Dr. Mark Ayoub is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeon specializing in the treatment of complex fractures and musculoskeletal injuries. As Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at a Level I trauma center, he provides care for high-energy injuries, including pelvic and acetabular fractures, periarticular injuries, and polytrauma.

Dr. Ayoub completed his medical degree and orthopaedic surgery residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident, followed by fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ayoub is actively involved in resident and fellow education and has published and presented nationally on orthopaedic trauma.Ā He has participated in international surgical education and volunteer initiatives, including work in Ghana and Vietnam, as well as prior volunteer involvement with organizations such as the Special Olympics. He is fluent in Arabic.
