Jieun “Esther” Kim, DNP, specializes in pediatrics.
Jieun began her educational journey at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing in New York, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing with honors. She then attended Columbia University to pursue her master’s degree to specialize as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Finally, she matriculated at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, to earn her Doctor of Nursing. During her time at Yale, she completed a quality improvement project on developing and implementing an obesity program for Hmong adolescents.
Jieun joins Inspire Health with a decade of pediatric experience. When she is not taking care of patients, she volunteers as a Bible school teacher at her church. She also volunteered for the Weill Cornell Heart to Heart Community Outreach Campaign, a diabetes and cardiovascular clinic that brings medical intervention to the underserved communities in New York City.
She is also a native Korean speaker and is proficient in Spanish.
