Diana Howard, MD, specializes in family and community medicine.

Dr. Howard obtained her medical degree at Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru. She then received her family medicine residency from the Valley Health Team Family Medicine Residency Program.

Her professional interests encompass healthcare for the LGBTQ+ community. Dr. Howard is proud to be an inclusive physician serving the LGBTQ+ community of the Central Valley as well as an advocate for a more inclusive future in healthcare. Shortly after her residency, she joined the Family and Community Medicine faculty at UCSF Fresno and echoed sentiments about providing full-spectrum care, particularly for transgender patients. She is passionate about gender-affirming care, taking measures to establish a gender-affirming care clinic in family medicine at UCSF Fresno.

Dr. Howard is fluent in Spanish and French, which allows her to serve a broader range of patients.
