UCSF Fresno and Inspire Health Medical Group (formerly Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG)) are currently seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division. Ideal candidates will possess an MD, DO, or equivalent degree, have successfully completed residency training in Internal Medicine, and have completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology. The Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division at UCSF Fresno is expanding and is actively seeking applicants interested in General Gastroenterology and/or those with an interest in motility disorders.

UCSF Fresno prides itself on having a well-established, ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program. Faculty duties will encompass direct patient care, resident and fellow instruction and supervision, conducting endoscopic procedures, and engaging in clinical research. Faculty appointments with UCSF will be determined based on the applicant’s qualifications and achievements.

The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. The result is a quality of life that is uniquely Californian, yet surprisingly affordable. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery are all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierra mountains (just 90 minutes away) as well as the scenic Central Coast, just two and one-half hours away. Fresno is the only major city in the country with close proximity to four national parks, including the renowned Yosemite National Park.

For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization: CCFMG provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $400,000-$500,000.
