Child Psychiatry

Sarthak Angal, MD, is board certified in psychiatry and is fellowship trained in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Angal attended UC Davis to earn his bachelor’s degree in genetics. He then pursued his Doctor of Medicine at Stanford University. He matriculated to the Kaiser Permanente San Jose Psychiatry Residency Program for his psychiatry residency. During that time, he was the chief fellow, serving as liaison between fellows and program directors. Finally, to expand his breadth of medical knowledge, he earned a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.

He has researched and published works regarding psychiatry, including the topics of depression and bipolar disorder among adolescents.
